Palate

Flavors of red currants, rose petal, violets, herbs, pepper, and
spice compliment a rich mouth feel. The finish is long with
tobacco, caramel, and toast aromas.

Aging

100% of Cabernet Franc is aged in oak barrels with 40% of
those barrels being new oak. Of that new oak 25% is French
oak and 75% is three year air dried American oak. The
balance of barrels is 1 and 2 years old. Neutral barrels may be
substituted in at racking to prevent the wine from being over
oaked.
