Intoxicating aromas of cinnamon, dried flowers, baking spices, and blackberry purée.

Winemaking

Not as immediately sexy and appealing as the voluptuous 2009, but exhibiting all of the same characteristics of Figgins Estate Vineyard with a more classic structured backbone and long-term attractiveness. 2010, along with 2005, is the highlight of my career so far. This is one to pop a bottle now, then lay down for decades of enjoyment as she develops a bottle bouquet. I cannot imagine a more perfect vintage to exhibit what I am trying to achieve with this single-vineyard bottling.

I hope you will agree that this vintage shows amazing purity of fruit and aromatics, balanced by the structure and acidity of a cool vintage, with an immaculate finish to both the weather and the wine.
