Palate

The 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon is full of black cherry jam, allspice aromas with toasted oak and fresh blackberries. An extended finish follows, containing hints of leather, tobacco and black tea.

Growing Conditions

Our 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon is made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from Blue Mountain Vineyard (Block 4) in the Walla Walla Valley AVA.

Harvest

Grapes were hand picked and hand sorted into stainless steel tanks during the late evening of October 14th 2013.

Bottling

August 13th 2015.

Winemaking

During fermentation, 2 times a day, gentle pump-overs and punch-downs were applied.

Aging

he wine was aged 22 months in 50% new, oak barrels from French cooper Sylvain. Wine barrels were topped every two weeks.
