Palate
Brilliant Bing cherry, blueberry, blackberry and licorice layer this silky wine of great personality. Richly nuanced with supple tannins and a smooth, extended finish.
Growing Conditions
Our 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon is made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from Blue Mountain Vineyard (Block 4) in the Walla Walla Valley AVA.
Harvest
Grapes were hand picked and hand sorted into stainless steel tanks during the late evening hours of October 18th 2012.
Bottling
Bottling date August 7th 2014.
Winemaking
During fermentation, 2 times a day, gentle pump-overs and punch-downs were applied.
Aging
The wine was aged for 22 months in 50% new, fine grain, oak barrels from French cooper Sylvain. Wine barrels were topped every two weeks.
