Nose
Red cherry, fresh herbs, eucalyptus, tobacco and chocolate.
Palate
Blueberry, cherry, red currant, toasty marshmallow, baking spices and woodsy earth. The 2016 Candide packs a well-rounded mouthfeel with hints of spice that pop like fireworks across the palate. We anticipate this vintage to evolve in the bottle for at least 10 years.
Growing Conditions
The Willamette Valley experienced an early spring in 2016, with warm days and cool nights, gentle temperature shifts and low humidity.
