Classic Old-World aromas of blackcurrant, tobacco and crushed gravel, lifted by notes of cigar box, dried herbs and incense. The wine is plush and dense on the palate with dark, seductive flavors of licorice, dark cherry and chocolate. Herbaceous qualities of fennel, sage, and mint combine with light mineral notes to make this an elegant and layered expression of Cabernet Franc.

Floral aromas of violet, lavender and sage are infused with dark notes of espresso, black pepper, licorice and charcuterie. The palate is medium to full-bodied with flavors of blackberry, plum, dark chocolate and grilled meats. A crushed rock-like minerality provides excellent focus and direction to the wine, while polished tannins and a lacy acidity draw out the palate to a long, lingering finish.
