Nose

The Tamarack Cellars 2018 Grenache has tart, bright, and inviting red fruit on the nose with nicely integrated notes of cherry and raspberry, followed by dusty notes of cloves and orange zest.

Palate

On the palate, you’ll find flavors of cranberry and McIntosh apple with dusty tannins and beechwood notes with cinnamon spice on the finish.

Winemaking

Crushed gently and dropped by gravity into 1.5ton bins, cold-soaked 48-72 hours, then inoculated with yeast RP15, hand punched for 9-12 days until ready for pressing directly to barrel where the wine finished both primary and secondary fermentations.
