Palate
Black and green peppercorns. Asian spices. Freshly picked spring flowers. Green herbs. leather. Red fruits.
Coming from the Ziggy Stardust Block at the Elevation Vineyard, it has a bloody, iron-like minerality as well as lots of black, blue, and red fruits, medium to full body, solid mid-palate concentration, and loads of tannic grip that comes through on the finish. This meaty, dark, mineral-laced barrel sample has tons of potential, yet it's going to need a solid 3-5 years of bottle age.
