Nose
Notes of boysenberry, black currant and over ripe plum are complimented with notes of pencil shavings and graphite. Cigar box and baking spices offer moderate notes of oak that are a counterpoint to the black fruit components.
Palate
The palate offers rich, complex black fruit with that same balanced integration of French oak. Rich minerality of clay and beets are secondary to fruit with an integrated profile of both tannin and acidity lend to a lengthy finish and textured mouthfeel.
