Nose

A beautiful aromatic component of ripe red tree fruit leaps out of the glass upon first take leading into moderate oak hinting at vanilla and tobacco. Crushed gravel and minerality are tertiary to the components of generous fruit.

Palate

On first taste it presents itself as the aromatic components would denote. Ripe cherry with subtle undertones of oak are well integrated with broad tannin and moderate acidity allowing this wine to have long, complex finish. A quintessential representation of Octave Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon.
