Nose
Intense nose of blackberry, dark cherry and black currant with scents of
crushed roses, tobacco and sandalwood.
Palate
The palate shows licorice, dark
chocolate, currant, and graphite with lingering ripe tannins.

• Hand-harvested grapes
• Picked early in the morning
Bottling
• Cross-flow filtration prior to bottling

Winemaking
• Small lot fermentations in stainless steel tanks
• The cap was manually punched down twice a day
• Up to 21 days of extended maceration on the Cabernet Sauvignon
Aging
• The wine was blended and aged for 16 months in French Oak barrels
with 20% new
