Nose
Intense nose of blackberry, dark cherry, and black currant leading into scents of crushed roses, tobacco, and sandalwood.
Palate
The palate shows licorice, dark chocolate, currant, and graphite with lingering ripe tannins.
Harvest
Hand-harvested grapes handpicked early in the morning.
Aging
Small lot fermentation in stainless steel tanks. The cap was manually punched down twice a day. The wine was aged for 14 months in French Oak barrels. Crossflow filtration prior to bottling.
