Floral violet scents with muscular blueberry, stone fruit and wet-loamy earth fill the top of the glass.
Velvety-fine tannins and moderate acidity bring a sumptuous texture and weightiness with intense flavors of reduced blueberries and black currant, overripe peach, tapenade, loam and a touch of lightly smoked carpaccio.
Pepper Bridge & Seven Hills
2017 began with cool temperatures followed by a warm hot summer which together produced small berries and average yields. Like Spring, September rolled in with cool weather preserving the acidity. Unlike other grapes, Syrah does not shut down in hot temperatures therefore its harvest was a little early despite the spring.

A Bellevue, Washington native, Chuck and his wife Tracy Tucker founded Reininger Winery in Walla Walla in 1997. Prior to becoming a winemaker, Chuck worked as a professional mountain guide and climber. Chuck graduated from the University of Puget Sound with a B.A. in Business and Marketing. Chuck oversees winemaking for the wineries’ three brands: REININGER, CPR, and Helix.
