Each year, Dunham Cellars blends a portion of its wines into this red table wine. Using fruit from all of our estate vineyards and using the same barrels in which our finest Cabernets, Merlots and Syrahs are aged, we are able to maintain the consistent high quality of our top wines, as well as create a great everyday wine that is price-friendly.
The 2019 vintage opens with aromas of fresh pineapple, Bosc pear, citrus zest and white flowers. Flavors of gooseberries, melon and white peach intermingle with a layer of creaminess on the finely textured palate. Our 2018 Columbia Valley Syrah opens with aromas of black fruit jam, fig and plum. Across the palate, vanilla and cocoa laced with herbs weave together with bold spice and classic Lewis Vineyard cola character. Restrained tannins and a balanced acidity draw out a long, satisfying finish on this complex, delicious vintage.
All estate grown, this 100% Chardonnay opens with aromas of Meyer lemon, citrus blossom, peach and apricot. Tropical flavors of pineapple and mango mingle with a touch of buttery richness while its bright acidity provides energy and freshness throughout the finish.
Our 2016 Riesling opens with a beautiful bouquet of white flowers, gooseberry and wet stone before revealing additional aromatics of beeswax and a touch of petrol. Flavors of Anjou pear and grapefruit are brightened by a crisp acidity and streak of minerality throughout.
