 Browne Family Vineyards is dedicated to my grandfather, who inspired me to be the determined and hard working person I am today. William Bitner Browne dedicated his life and used his abilities to help people, from his heroic efforts during World War II and the Korean War to his tireless commitment to his community and law firm.
 
 Beyond the service to his community, my grandfather also had a strong appreciation for fine wine. His passion for wine began in the 1930s when he was given the opportunity to study at the University of Bordeaux in France. Decades later my grandfather entrusted in me that spirit and passion behind great wine. Inspired by his passion, Browne Family Vineyards will continue to make wines that my grandfather would be proud of.
 
 Browne is our family name and with it comes a responsibility for quality, craftsmanship and commitment now and in the future.
 
 We developed Browne Family to showcase the high quality Washington wine that our world class growers and winemakers produce. Browne Family has been a work in progress for the past fifteen years from the development in the vineyards to selecting the winemaking team that understood our vision of what a great wine meant. The finished product is a wine that over delivers.

This wine is fruit-forward with mouthwatering acid. 

Aromas of allspice and kiwi lead to flavors of Fuji apple and toasted marshmallow. Silky smooth structure with bright balanced acid, this wine is seamless. Butter flavor mingle with fruit salad finishing sweet and dry. This Chardonnay will pair perfectly baked or roasted foods in cream sauce.

Earthy aromas of forest floor with flavors of dark fruit, sweet oak and cassis. Full-bodied and jammy with a long, spicy finish of cigar box and pepper aromas. This wine is ready to drink now but will age for a decade or more and continue to improve with time.

A beautiful garnet in color, this Rosé NV has a delicate, fine mousse and rich, fruit flavors. This full-bodied sparkler starts with floral and berry aromas which introduce flavors of cherry, raspberry and wild strawberry, finishing delicately with zesty acidity.  

This wine opens with aromatics of toasty oak, licorice and cherries. Rich flavors of plum, Bing cherries and banking spices explode on the palate finishing with notes of sweet vanilla, dark chocolate and fruit compote. This wine pairs perfectly with anything off the barbecue.

Black pepper, anise and leather aromas lead to flavors of clove, dark chocolate and plum. This wine is medium bodied with soft integrated tannins and finishes with spicy, savory and sweet cherry pie flavors. Soft tannins and spicy flavors pair perfectly with Beef Bourguignon or other stewed beef dishes.

Aromatics of stone fruit blossom and ripe nectarine marmalade introduce flavors of apricot, dried pear and orange zest with a balanced minerality. Apricot preserves and bright acid balance the wine perfectly on the long, sweet, finish. This mouthwatering dessert wine will pair perfectly with chocolate, brownies, sorbet of fresh berries.

Beautiful aromas of toasted oak with foxy grape and black fruit notes lead into flavors of dates, huckleberries and black cherries. Bold tannins stick to the palate leaving a lingering finish of licorice and berry compote. This full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon pairs perfectly with wild game like elk or venison and earthy wild mushrooms.

Sweet toasted oak and viscous structure, this wine is silky smooth with enough acid to leave a clean and fruity finish. It opens up with aromas of ripe pear and yellow apple leading to flavors of apple and passion fruit. Pear flavors and slight butter notes on the finish. This wine will pair well with creamy dishes like pastas with alfredo sauce. It is also the perfect wine for white fish with some dill and butter, shellfish/fish stews like Bouillabaisse, seared scallops in butter and crab cakes.
