Nose

Aromatics of leather and toasted oak lead to flavors of black plum, black pepper, and chocolate-covered cherries.

Palate

This wine has big tannins but is round and approachable on the finish with notes of toasted oak, anise and black cherry.

Aging

14 months in barrel in 28% new American oak.

Food Pairing

This is a classic Washington Cabernet Sauvignon that is tannic but fruit-forward and will pair perfectly with pulled pork and grilled red meats.
