Layers of spice, vanilla, blackberry, black currant, earth and wine cellar engulf your nose.
Palate
A huge explosion of juicy blackberry, cassis and current flirt wtih minerals and Wahluke scorched earth. The finish is lengthy and layered, building upon itself into a crescendo of dark berries and is a true representation of the vineyard it came from.

Winemaking
Individual lots for this wine were cold soaked, saigne’d, fermented under controlled temperatures and post-macerated. Malolactic fermentation (secondary) was performed in 100% new French oak barrels- where aging took place for 30 months. Our intuitive journey of winemaking comes to fruition with this wine as you taste and feel the finest quality within this bottle. Four barrels made!
