Nose
The nose is dominated by black pepper and dark fruit aromas, but has nice spice and tea leaf notes.
Palate
The flavors continue in the mouth and are joined by licorice, graphite minerality that’s almost reminiscent of gun-powder, and English Christmas pudding.The fruit evolves into dark plum, fig, and cassis.The mouthfeel is plush, with smooth velvety tannins that leave a long finish of Rhone-esque fruit and charcuterie flavors.
