Our 2012 Merriment shows expressive notes of ripe, red berry fruits, dried herbs and cassis on the vibrant nose. With a little time in the glass, hints of dark plum, violets and cedar will surprise and delight your senses.

Palate

The mouth-feel is elegant, where bright fruit and toasty oak marry beautifully. Bright acidity rounds off the mouth-feel and endures for a long lingering finish through luscious layers of intense fruit

Growing Conditions

Vineyards: Phinny Hill, Wallula, Double River, Double Canyon

Aging

20 months in 100% French oak, 80% New.

Food Pairing

Our Merriment will pair well with hearty meals such us green bean stew with lamb, roasted duck with herb risotto and cheeses such us Aged Gouda and Gorgonzola. This wine can easily mature to perfection in your cellar for 5-10 years.
