Nose
Our Double River Cabernet Franc expresses vibrant red ber-ry fruit, intriguing floral notes and noticeable herbal qualities on the bouquet. The beautiful notes of perfume consist of raspberry, cotton candy, rhubarb and hay.
Palate
The mouth feel has the perception of sweetness due to the ripe, intense fruit characteristics and soft tannins. It is well rounded in the mid-palate and has a long, lingering finish.
Growing Conditions
Our Double River Vineyard Block 10 produces small, intense berries with tons of essence and flavor. We manage and tend our vines carefully to create balance and finesse in the vineyard. Low yields are maintained to ensure ripe fruit, with substance and plenty of character.
Winemaking
Our Cabernet Franc spends more time on the skins during fermentation so we can ensure great color, ample tannins and full bodied wines.
Aging
The wine aged for 20 months in new French oak and by doing so we obtain great balance between fruit and oak integration.

Appearance
The deep, inky color is a fair reflection of a balanced and well-made Caber-net Franc.
Food Pairing
Our Cabernet Franc will pair well with green bean stew, Mediterranean lamb burgers and grilled pork with apple stuffing.
