Growing Conditions
One of two single varietal Rhone wines, this Syrah is from a high elevation site on the Royal Slope and made from two clones of Syrah(Tablas Creek and Joseph Phelps).
Bottling
Bottled Jan 2018 unfined and unfiltered.
Winemaking
Fermented in 100% concrete tanks and 20% whole cluster.
Aging
Aged for 26 months in 50% new French oak. This wine was racked only to blend.
