Palate

Notes of raspberry, rosehip, and sandalwood on the nose, with a good mouthfeel that contrasts between sweet and savory. The palate leads with candied cranberries, sautéed porcini mushrooms and white pepper, with dried cherries and baking spices following on the long, smooth finish.

Winemaking

A blend of 48% Grenache, 30% Mourvedre and 22% Counoise. Aged in 100% French oak, 25% second vintage barrels, and 75% third and fourth vintage barrels from select coopers of Taransaud, Quintessence, and Vicard.
