This 100% Cabernet Franc comes entirely from the old blocks of Cabernet Franc planted in 1995 and 2001. It has a solid structure but the tannins are high quality and seamless.
This vintage is similar to 2010 with excellent flavor development and relatively low brix in the fruit.
The rose has fresh citrus aromas with hint of dry herbs, followed by great flavors or candied clementine and orange peel. It is wonderful as an aperitif and also pairs nicely with light dishes.
This Nina Lee is packed with summer red berries flavors. A hint of violet on the nose as well as some peppery notes. The structure is firm and the finish is vibrant.
The 2017 Corkrum has a very floral bouquet of violet with a hint of minerality. The palate is focused on strawberry aromas. The tannins are extremely silky. This wine is definitely a terroir-driven wine.
