A rich, enticing nose of crushed blue fruits, oak spice, and anise. With time in the glass more definition reveals blackberry, raspberry compote, licorice spice and toasty grains.
The palate is full-bodied and well balanced leading with bundles of dark fruit ranging from ripe berries and dark plum to more exotic notes of tamarind and pomegranate. Nuances of white pepper and baking spices can also be found lingering on a seamless finish.
Dark, opaque – almost black in color.
